5.0 out of 5 stars Adam's book is the real thing based on spiritual principles, May 30, 2004
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Adam's book is written for the healer. It is written on a level of maturity and a basic understanding of spiritual principles of healing. He has confirmed in his abilities, what it has taken me many years to understand about my own ability to heal and the images I have seen. I have read two extremely negative criticisms of the book and found them to be filled with such hate and jealousy that I have completely invalidated their critique value. Anyone who claims to be a healer and then spews such ugly anger towards a young talented author cannot possibly be a healer because true healers understand the karmic effects of such negative energy and that all healing and the ability to heal comes from God, or "the Universe" as some say. It is true that Adam may not have been able to heal his own mother completely, yet in the scriptures we read that Paul was able to heal thousands, but not able to heal himself completely. In response to his pleas, the Lord said, "My grace is sufficient for thee,". Sometimes we are given challenges close to the heart to strengthen our resolve. Adam doesn't make fantastic claims in his book as a healer. In fact, his book is fresh, clear, and has a balanced perspective. He takes the successes he's had and reveals that a positive attitude, an ability to be receptive and a desire for deep personal change are what those being healed must have in order to heal. As a Master in martial arts, a certified metaphysical healing practitioner, a reiki healer, and a healer educated in Dhanur Veda under an Indian Master for nine years, and a student of oriental medicine and herbology, I do validate the principles and content of this wonderful book. As healers, we are in a continual evolution to grow and learn. I have healed others and have been seeing astral images (which Adam calls holograms) for years in my healing. The fact that Adam uses high-tech and scientific terms is a matter of symantics. What I call the astral body and physical substrait, Adam refers to as holograms. What I call the Divine power of God and Jesus, he calls Energetic field. He avoids any religious or cultural terms in order for us to understand from his scientific and modern perspective. His book is filled with his love for his craft and his growth and evolution unfolds as he takes us through the challenges he's endured as a healer. I highly recommend this book to any serious healer with an open mind and a willingness to learn and grow.

4.0 out of 5 stars A glimpse at a new paradigm of healing..., December 12, 2004
Well, I just finished Adam's first book, "DreamHealer: His Name is Adam" (a.k.a., "DreamHealer 1"). ("DreamHealer 2" is now available. I'll be reading it today, but have thumbed through it enough to get the gist of it.) Definitely an enjoyable and worthwhile read.

"DreamHealer: His Name is Adam", starts out with sort of an autobigraphical overview of how young Adam (16 years old a year ago when he wrote this book) discovered that there was something "unusual" about himself, and came to recognize it as a unique ability as a healer. Then it continues as Adam explains how he sees things when he works with people, gives some case histories, and concludes with recommendations for good health.

Don't be skeptical about the age of Adam and how rudimentary his writing skills might be... I quickly forgot that myself as I read the book. He seems much older than his 16 years would indicate.

I recommended it to a friend yesterday. That friend, who is a very competent healer in his own right, said he'd looked at it, but didn't see anything there for him, which surprised me. When asked how that was true, he said that the book seemed to be about Adam describing his gifts... not teaching. I told him that he needed to check it out again. (I'll lend mine to him now.)

Back when I decided to read about every healer I heard about, the idea was to see what potential lay "out there", and work to distill the ideas that I came across in my readings. In doing so, there were a few healers (Dean Kraft, Ze'ev Kohlman, Benjamin Bibb, in particular), who opened doors to new levels for me, because what they did was so different than the others I read about. Dean Kraft would study medical illustrations to get an idea what a "normal" condition was, then focus that intent to make it happen in the client. Ze'ev Kohlman among other things, could see energy meridians and pinpoint blockages, which was very different from anyone else I'd heard of. And Benjamin Bibb would look at things mechanically... for instance, visualizing that he took apart an arthritic joint, sandpapered the surfaces smooth, and applied a permanent salve / lubricant. To me, finding out about how each of these healers did things in their unique was was inspiring as well as thought- provoking.

I see Adam's "holograms" in the same light. In "DreamHealer 1", although Adam doesn't specifically "teach" holograms, the fact that he describes them to the extent that he does, does give us a glimpse of possibilities, which, as developing healers (do we ever truly "finish"?) ourselves, allows us to set new goals... and reach them.

"DreamHealer 2", on the other hand IS about teaching us how he does what he does... and how we may be able to do similar things ourselves. The illustrations (in full color) of what he sees when he works are very good and give us the distinct "knowing", that with a little practice and patience, we can see in a similar, if not the same, way.

If you're a healer who is on a quest for relevant books, these are as relevant as you'll find anywhere. And they're written in plain English that doesn't leave us scratching our heads trying to understand vague explanations, or, compare a new esoteric terminology to words we currently are fimiliar with to see how they match up.

I highly recommend that you buy both books...

4.0 out of 5 stars Opening Doors and Opening Minds, August 9, 2005
Given the state of healthcare in the United States, I wonder how many people might benefit from ideas like those presented in DreamHealer. Adam tells his very personal story about discovering his special abilities to see a person's health problems as manifest in their energy fields (like an aura) and then how he progressed to being able to help heal them. His journey has been one of perpetual growth and understanding about humanity and our own power to live healthy, balanced lives. Going from a situation in which Adam "absorbed" the pain of those he attempted to heal to an entirely new situation of being able practice distance healing without negatively impacting his own energy, Adam will inspire you to take ownership of your own health and your own healing power. Personally, while I have not yet achieved results, I remain interested in pursuing this way of approaching my health and the world. I even looked into attending one of Adams workshops on healing in Canada, but it sold out before I could determine the feasibility of going.
The bottom line is this, if you can open your mind to the possibilities Adam presents, you may also open a door to a healthy and balanced future.

I really enjoyed Adam's story. He not only tells about his healings but details of how he does it. Never boring. I admire his honesty. He writes in such a way as to bridge the beliefs of the skeptic to the believer. I think anyone who reads this book will come away from it with an expanded belief system.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Healing Techniques of our Future, April 23, 2006

I was mesmerized by Adam's book -- He may be only 16, but extremely advanced, mature, gifted, and aware. I think of him as a 'crystal child' as this is the healing of our future, so get ready. In 20 years, this will not be unusual, I truly believe this. I was extremely excited reading his book. I felt his truth and know without a doubt, that Adam, and others like him (I know there are others) are what we have been waiting for. They will change our world and the way we do things. I am a Medical Intuitive, I have a Doctor of Science in Integrative & Preventative Medical Therapies, am a Metaphysician, a RoHun Doctor, and a reader of the truth. The simple truth is, Adam knows what he is talking about! Dr. LJHuinker

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, amazing fascinating book, December 10, 2006

My kudos to Adam for bringing his most down to earth, honest, and amazing message to the world. I really do have to disagree with all of the negative reviewers here, as this book does NOT merit any negative reviews at all.

Adam, or Adam Dream Healer, as he wishes to be known, is truly not only a most gifted healer, but he is also willing to share his story and his techniques with the world. Adam's writing is honest and truly from his heart and NOT from some high and lofty esoteric place, where ego can and often does abound. The book is wonderfully written so that the average person can understand its' concepts, even though the reader may not have any experience with any kind of energy work. As a body worker and energy worker myself, I was immediately drawn into the book and could not put it down. I read this book in several hours, so mesmerized and fascinated I was by this story. Kudos also to his parents, realizing that their spiritually attuned son, a crystal child, had a natural gift to be nurtured and developed, and not pushed aside and condoned as most parents probably would have. Without this nurturing and encouragement, Adam's wonderful gift would not have been allowed to blossom and flourish and help and touch as many lives he has been able to do.

Adam allows us to see and even for some of us to realize, maybe for the first time, that we are indeed energy, and energy within us sometimes gets misdirected and causes dis-ease within our bodies. Adam is able to access the body's energetic "pictures" or holograms and "re-wire" those places inside in need of repair. Dis-ease is eliminated and the body is returned to a state of health. Adam's message is not new, it has been around for some time, but in this wonderful book, Adam is re-minding us that we all have the capability to heal our own as well as other people's bodies. Quantum physics and quantum energy are bringing into the forefront the same exact message that we are all energetic beings living within an energetic field

When Adam explains of his distance healing, one realizes that energy has no time or space constraints. Therefore, healing intention goes where intention is placed and results are obtained. I do think that is most important to realize though, that when one is indeed near the end of their time on this earth plane, no amount energetic healing work will provide the "wanted" outcome of one's desire to stay and not transition. I loved it when Adam spoke of people coming to him as a "last resort", after exhausting all conventional routes. I really believe that after one reads this book, the message that is indeed imparted to the reader, is that not only should this type of healing be "the first choice", but we are also capable of healing ourselves. Dr. Bernie Seigel, in all of his mind/body books and working with cancer patients, brought this message to the masses in the 80s. Now with the release of the movie, "The Secret", the message is becoming imprinted more and more and deeper and deeper. Western Medicine does not have all the answers, as most are finding this out and seeking out alternative therapies, with incredible success, in their own and their loved one's lives. Body and energy workers have also known this for a very long time and have been spreading the message as well for those open to listen and receive the message.

Because Adam's abilities were nurtured and fostered at a very young age his story reaches many more who can relate in many different ways, from the young to the old. Adam allows the reader to approach energetic healing with a much more open mind for those who might have been previously closed off to the subject, due to the "fear" of not following conventional routes and what "may" happen if they do not. There are many in the world that have been healed by energy workers, or have even healed themselves. The mind is incredibly powerful for those open and willing to listen to the message.

Adam is the messenger, but THIS messenger is bathed in the light and love of sharing. It is my belief that the world will begin to seek out the Adams of the world, as we realize that conventional medicine is just not the end all answer anymore.

This is quite a powerful book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Adam the Dream Healer's website is also worth checking out as it is filled with much more information and insights.

5.0 out of 5 stars will change consciousness, for the absolute best!, December 25, 2003
DreamHealer was recommended to me several months ago. Now that I see this book is available through Amazon.com, I am very pleased.

Dream Healer will do several things to a reader's consciousness:

1)Will allow Adam's incredible life story to resonate into the reader's being, and will offer details about extraordinary abilities such as holographic viewing and healing.
2)Will bring important insight regarding how healing works, how Energy is accessed, and how the reader may develop his/her own personal power.
3)Will open the reader's focus into a new perception, and will raise awareness to the realization that we have very much to learn and discover in this universe.

I recommend DreamHealer to every person I contact that shares an interest in healing, Energy, and quantum physics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite Extaordinary, March 22, 2006
By
Adam, the healer who writes this book is attuned to the radiant beauty and power
of the Spirit of the world, and the Spirit of the Universe, and when he does his
healing work, he literally chooses not to see the healee as a physical being,
choosing instead to behold the all powerful LOVE LIGHT that resides at the heart
of the healee's holographic Self. Reading his words and contemplating the
wonder of this idea wakes the reader up to his own healing power.

One has to have the gift of humility honed and very finely tuned to
do the work he does. One also has to realize the illusory aspect of everything
perception allows us. Love is the only true heart of the matter.

4.0 out of 5 stars A True Story of Miracle Healings, August 28, 2006
This review is from: DreamHealer: A True Story of Miracle Healings (Mass Market Paperback)
I enjoyed reading the book. The book was suggested to me by a friend. The writer confirmed much of what I have already come to understand and believe. However, the writer also provided additional information and methodology for developing and practicing the concepts. The book met my expectations and I have already passed it along to someone else I think would enjoy reading it.
