I have been using this consistently for about 2 months now and I really like it. I cant tell you for sure that it actually helps me sleep better, but I can say that it does relax you. I find that if you combine it with some meditating/conscious breathing it works best. I think its a good buy if you have some extra cash.

My 12 year old son has been a troubled sleeper for a long time, anxious about scary thoughts or dreams as well as not being able to fall asleep because he is so anxious. We are now using a cd with guided imagery for falling asleep combined with this wristband. I do not know if it is the wristband, the guided imagery, or the mere thought that they will make him fall asleep, but he has been sleeping soundly since we started it. He does not think the wristband is uncomfortable and does not mind the buzzing sound. He turns it on twice.

I have been using this product for over 2 years now and am in the process of ordering my second Dreamate. I love my Dreamate! It works every time I use it. If I wake in the middle of the night I just turn it back on and drift back to sleep. After 2 years, of (almost) nightly use the band finally broke. It would be nice to fix or replace the band as the unit works just fine, but I have not been able to find such information.

It is worth buying a new one just to have it on hand.
