4.0 out of 5 stars Great seat
we've been using this seat for our baby since she was 6mo old, and can't imagine bathtime without it. She's nearly a year old and just recently it broke (like another reviewer mentioned, the suction cup stuck to the tub and broke off from the seat). But it gave us 6mo of stress-free bathtime (enables me to bathe my baby and 3yo togehter w/o worrying that the younger one...

2.0 out of 5 stars not as good as I thought
I just bought this seat for my 9 month old son. I bought it for the convenience of the fold down front. As good as that feature is it still causes red marks on my sons knees. He is a thin baby so I don't know how well this would work for a chubbier baby. Also, the seat it self is slippery. I have to place a rag down before I put the baby in because he will slide forward...

He is a thin baby so I don't know how well this would work for a chubbier baby. Also, the seat it self is slippery. I have to place a rag down before I put the baby in because he will slide forward if I don't. This is very uncomfortable for him.Unfortunately, this seems to be the only seat with the fold down front which does make taking the baby in and out easier. That is really the only good thing I can say about this product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great seat!, June 7, 2007

I love this seat. It keeps my son safe while he bathes with his big sister. The fold down front is great for washing the front of him and getting him in and out. Would recommend this seat.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless. Period., January 16, 2008
This review is from: Dreambaby Bath Seat (Baby Product)
I bought this because I couldn't find something like the old circle shaped ring I had five years ago when my other son was a baby. So I bought this and its been nothing but a hassle. First off, it doesn't stick to my tub, and I think it's because I have a textured bathtub floor. I read the other reviews before I purchased it, and others said that the suction cups didn't stick. Well I should have listened to them. And also, it leaves marks on my baby's legs from the bar. It can't feel good. The toys on it are pretty much useless. So I hold him with one hand and wash with the other. Totally useless, in my opinion.

3.0 out of 5 stars It works, but needs improvement, December 14, 2007

The seat saved me a TON of time because I was finally able to bathe my 5 month old and my 2.5 year old at the same time. Unfortunately there were a few things that just weren't good enough. The seat didn't stick to any of the tubs in my house, and I have three. You'd think it could be a little bit more universal, you know? That said, my chunka baby weighed the seat down enough and I was able to be hands-free (but of course I never left her sight). The edges were way too sharp and left marks all over her body. The back and front offer no cushioning, so when my daughter skid around it left marks on her. When she leaned forward the little useless toys poked into her belly. The seat also fell apart a few times after taking her out, but I was able to snap it back together again. The seat also put my daughter about 2-3 inches above the bottom of the tub, so I had to make the water pretty deep to keep her warm. This meant my older daugher was having a hard time keeping from floating away in the deep water.

It did what I needed it to do, but it could certainly be a little more comfy for a lil baby!

1.0 out of 5 stars The suction cups suck, September 22, 2007
This review is from: Dreambaby Bath Seat (Baby Product)
I bought this new bath seat because my old one had gone through two other children and the suction cups didn't work anymore. Come to find out the suction cups on the new bath seat don't work either. I should have just saved my money and used the old one I have. What good is a bath seat that floats, moves and tips over? Don't waste your time!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bath Freedom, August 23, 2007
This review is from: Dreambaby Bath Seat (Baby Product)
My daughter loves her new bath seat. She is 6 months old and too big for her infant tub, but too small to sit on her own in the big tub. This allows her the freedom of sitting up on her own. She loves being able to sit up and look around and I love that it's easy to get her in and out with the front bar that folds down. It's also much easier to wash her bottom with the front bar folded down. I would definitely recommend this seat to other parents. And comparatively, it's very reasonably priced and one of the only I found with the fold down front bar.

This product works great for my son who at six months was too long for the baby bathtub but not quite ready to sit in a big tub on his own! He likes sitting in it and playing with the little toys. The only problem I had is that it does not stick to surfaces that are not completely smooth, like the bottom of my tub! However, with the baby in it, there is enough weight to keep it in place!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Option, February 14, 2008
This review is from: Dreambaby Bath Seat (Baby Product)
Overall, I like the product. At first, I was bummed that it tipped over when my daughter leaned over, but we have non slip stickers so the suction cups do not work. I just kept my hand close to it to hold it if she tipped. However, I quickly learned that if I face it the long way (instead of towards me) it works great as she leans forward to get toys instead of to the side. Also, she is sitting better so it works better. I can bathe both my girls together (4 yr and 10 mo.) and when the baby started crawling it is great that she just sits put. With my older one, I used an inflatable tub and once she started crawling and walking, it was a nightmare to keep her seated. I had to have my hands on her the whole time and wrestle with her. So, for that reason, I think this is a better option than the inflatable tubs and it allows you to bathe two at the same time even if you need to keep an eye for the tipping. You can clean the bottom area by quickly opening it and cleaning the area and then reclosing.

Pros: The baby stays seated which avoids potential accidents. Can bathe two kids at once. Can reach the bottom area easily. It folds. Does not mold easily.

Cons: Can tip if the suction cups don't work if you have a tub with a non skid surface.
