This song begins with some typical Supertramp jazz piano and falsetto vocal which is soon joined by rhythmic bass and drums. Overall it makes for a more pop tune, without many of the Supertramp progressive rock conventions. This is underscored by the length, a bit short at 3:32 minutes. The last minute has some nice surging percussion and lower vocal chorus continuing the melodic piano.
