4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good June 6, 2012

This rubber fountain tap would work well with a faucet without a a heavy lip. My bathroom faucet Moen 6410BN Eva Two-Handle High Arc Bathroom Faucet Brushed Nickel looks like this. The Tapi fits fine over the aerator, but there is not enough clearance for Tapi's side spout. The result is this: when you squeeze the base of the Tapi to form the fountain, the water hits the lip of the faucet instead of clearing it. The result is a mound of water at the base of the spout instead of an arc of water. Servicable, sort of, but the product could be improved. If Tapi's fountain spout were at a slightly different angle and slightly longer, the result would be a true arcing fountain for all common lavatory faucets.

2.0 out of 5 stars Kid's like it, parents wont June 20, 2012
By V
The kids think it's great and want to use it, but your hand will always get wet and the output is rarely as perfect as in the picture. I bought this because of the difficulty in finding a screw on fountain adapter like I've owned before. That one never got water on your hand and had a perfect drinking fountain stream every time. This will let you down if you have any real expectations of it. It also will not fit most bathroom faucets without buying some sort of adapter to lengthen the end of the faucet.

3.0 out of 5 stars The kids like it - finicky in its fit to faucets June 4, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
I saw this in an article online and thought that it would be great for the kids rinsing after brushing teeth. No need for cups or slurping off the toothbrush. I quickly discovered that you have to have just the right kind of faucet and end to fit this. If your faucet does not point straight down then the drinking mode of the fountain will shoot strait up and back down again on the hand that is pinching the rubber end or shoot back toward the faucet and drench your fixtures. The faucet in the kids bathroom had a slight tilt outward pointing the fountain back toward the faucet. The one in our master bathroom on the other hand has a nice downward angle and an enlarged end that retains the fountain. More modern faucets with a smooth outlet would be difficult to keep the fountain on.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does not work with/stay on any of the four sinks in our house
It is a novel idea, but sadly its only that, and idea, not functional. It won't work on our three bathroom sinks bc they are tilted back some so the stream points backwards, so... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars works ok
My kids like it, think it's fun, but even when I use it, it doesn't shoot water up very high and you practically have to suck on the spout to get a drink. Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this, but my kitten loves it more

This item does not work as it is supposed to. The fountain doesn't even come up and so you can't even use it. My son can't squeeze it, which is who I bought it for. Read more

It says it fits most round faucets. We have 3 in our house. It didn't fit any of them. I was disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars fountain of delight
It is small enough to take with you on trips. The colors are bright to get children to want to drink more water.
