This product doesn't have much of a description, so I'll try and help it out a bit. I ordered the pink and it's a pleasant petal pink. Not a strong bubble gum or a washed out pastel. The fabric is soft and the way that it drapes is very flattering. The chemise has darting to accomidate those of us who are busty. The shoulder straps aren't sewn down in the back; they're looped through holes so you can adjust them to exactly how you want them and then tie the ends together. Low on the back there are two more ties so you can synch up the waist or leave it out, depending on how hippy you are. This garment is definitely friendly for all shapes and sizes. The robe is a true wrap-around. There's an extra tie inside the robe so you won't have to worry about it flopping open and being a pain the butt. Typically speaking I'm a size 16 and ordered the 1x-2x and am very pleased. The shoulders are a little big for me, I'm only 5'1" so they'd probably be fine for someone who is taller.

The set is nice esp. for the money. If you are looking for an extremely nice material or something top of the line, though, this isn't it.

This item is nice but its not top of the line so if you dont want to spend a lot this item is good but if you have the money buy the better one.

the nightgown was odd, so odd wasnt even sure how to put it on, however i did like the robe so i kept that and threw away the nightgown, th e shipping was good

Cheap material. The night-gown is very odd shaped and doesnt fit well. The robe is huge! I ordered the plus size and I wear 14-16 shirts and 13 pants. Its not very comfortable either.

I purchased this set as a surprise for my husband. I gave it 3 stars because, the robe is great but, the chemise is not flattering at all. It shows every single curve you have and bunches up in the back, especially if it is too large for you and creates a much "larger" body frame. This is my personal opinion on this product. I have given away the chemise and kept the robe. I do not rec. this item unless you have a beautiful figure and if you are looking for a new robe.

The babydoll and robe are made very nice. The price is even nicer!

I will admit I purchased this set primarily for the robe. I am a size 16/18 dress but took the advice of other reviewers and sized up to the 3X/4X. I LOVE the robe! (and cute bonus hanger) It is roomy and silky-although you can definitely tell it is polyester not true silk, still worth it for the cost.

As an added plus the box arrived at my home a full 2 days prior to the expected delivery date.

As for the 4 rating: the back of the slip IS an "open back" style and the straps are confusing.

To start with I tried lacing it up the way it is shipped to you. Ladies: this is incorrect. So to all who are finding the size too small-this is the issue. There are two sets of straps. The smaller length ones just above your behind tie together and give shape to the hips.
The long set go from the front, over your shoulders, cross at the back of your neck, then slip through the tabs at the upper back area, and tie together. You will end up with two bows-one higher up mid back around the shoulder blades- the other in the small of your back down low. I'm not saying the open back is the most flattering or easiest to tie on a plus sized woman, I am saying that is the way the ties are suppose to work.

Confusion with straps aside I will still be purchasing this in other colors. That is how satisfied I am.

I was not happy with the material of this product. I like the robe, tho, so for the price I kept both colrs,(red and black)I am not a "return " type person.

When I bought this I should have known what I was getting because one of the other reviewers said the same thing. The robe is nice and sexy so I don't feel too bad but the gown is just not wearable for anyone that weighs over 150 lbs. There are just too many flimsy strings in the back to tie up and it doesn't hang well. If they had made the back like the front this would be perfect.
