Gruesomely Frightening !,
By SMMORR@WEBTV.NET (Manhasset, New York, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dreamhouse (Paperback)
As a horror buff, I really enjoyed Dreamhouse by Douglas Borton. It's a fun choice for those of us who enjoy a quick read and want a fairly gruesome horror story. Some of the mood is reminescent of "The Shining". The story centers on the psychological collapse of a man who is living in a haunted mansion for the summer with his family. Although the story is sometimes far-fetched, horror lovers won't care. Dreamhouse is a story that will grab you and not let you go until it is finished with you!

Great horror.,
By Jim Lay (Knoxville, TN USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dreamhouse (Paperback)
A successful screenwriter moves his family into a bizarre mansion on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Little does he know, the house is more than just an architectural oddity. It has power. And it feeds on nightmares. God help the neighboring town when it does. This is a great read for horror fans. Borton pulls out the stops on this one and unleashes a horde of wild terrors. Highly recommended.
