Trace Adkins debut is totally rockin'. He has a different sound from the usual country sound. He brings with him some awesome lyrics to go with his pure baritone voice. The Violin player rocks too. Guitars are sweet... everything fits together nicely. Another cool thing about him is how the songs are witty and funny in a way. Mr. Adkins is by far my favorite "country" artist and maybe one of my favorite artists in any genre of music. So, grab the CD if you like country or not cause if you dont I'm sure this will turn you on to it.

My sweetie gave me this album for Christmas because she knew I really liked the song "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing." I guess it kind of describes our love for each other. I also liked the harmonica sound on "It was You" - nice touch. The whole CD is pretty darn good (singer and band both real country). I enjoyed this album so much I bought his other two CDs from Amazon. When they arrive I'll play them with my sweetheart snuggled up in my arms.

Trace is a great man! His vocals are very KICK-A** (in the words of Eric Cartman)!!!!!!! From the errie "DREAMING OUT LOUD", to the humorous "***-5789", TRACE should be at the top of everyones list! I have seen Trace in concert twice, and both times he "COUNTRIED", not "ROCKED"!! There are too many acts out there, that want to "ROCK" you. (I.E. DAVID KERSH and THE WILKINSONS!!!) Trace Adkins has what it takes to knock off Garth and George! Give him 10 years, and he'll have sold 10 Million albums.

This CD has had many hits from it. In my opinion, EVERY ONE should have been a hit. When I bought my first CD, "Comin" On Strong", I loved his voice and songs so much that I got this one and the other ones after and every one since. I have been thrilled and enthralled with all his songs and concerts. He sings with a sincerity and depth of feelings like nobody else. He also likes to make jokes and comments, that add a uniqueness to his style, all his own. I listen to every one of his CDs still.

This Is One Of The Best Albums Of The Late 1990's. The Lead-Off Single "There's A Girl In Texas" Was A Top Tener. So Wasn't "Every Light In The House Is On". "(This Ain't) No Thinking Thing" Was A Number 1 Hit. The Highlight Of The Album Was 1997's "I Left Something Turned On At Home". That Is The Best Hit.

I bought this when it first came out on cassette (if you don't know what that is, ask your parents), and recently ordered it on CD. Often with a CD, there's one or two tracks that I don't really care for. But with this, every one is a winner. I have it in my 5-CD player, and it's rarely taken out of rotation. Trace Adkins ROCKS!

I love Trace Adkins voice. The songs on this cd are great. I've worn out 3 CD's already. I always keep one in my car and one in my house.

This was Trace Adkins' first cd. His first single was There's A Girl In Texas which kicks the cd off. It wasn't as big of a hit as some he had later. Or some that was on this cd. But it is my favorite song on the cd. And the reason I bought the cd. And except for Badonkadonk is still my favorite song by him'
I Left Something Turned On At Home, Every Light In The House Is On, and Thinkin' Thing which I also love were the other hits on here. And the song 634-5789 which is another rocker is another highlight. One thing about this cd. I think I bought it before I really knew who he was. And you cant tell from the cover picture or the back cover picture. How long his hair is. And I know that shouldn't make any difference. But it surprised me when I saw how long it was. I have both of his Greatest Hits cds. But it has turned out that I like his music. But I really dont want to see him live. Or watch him.
