He has done it again. The Dutch violinist has again brought us a wonderful upbeat CD with some light music and some more classical pieces. Especially check out "Lost Heroes" which was composed by Andre and his brother to commemorate September 11. The words are by his wife Marjorie and the Dutch soprano Kelly God does a beautiful and sensitive rendition.

Simply stated, Andre Rieu performs some of the most beautiful music in the world today. "Dreaming" is my favorite but in the end, I can likely say that anything he has done is my favorite. You are transported to a
beautiful universe where it is rather difficult to return to normal everyday life.

I am a great Andre Rieu fan and a Strauss fan. This was even more relaxing than Andre's other works. Great stress relief after a long day or just to sit and relax with your special someone. If people like Andre Rieu, you may also want to try Tim Janis who is a great composer/conductor. He will also relax you.

Music beautiful but too dreamy.........can easily put you to sleep. My fault...should have previewed first. I was looking for something more lush and upbeat like much of his other stuff.

There is entirely too much material in this CD that has been done (and done...) by others. In addiion, there are too many tracks that are easy listening. I was looking for light classical. And very few of the classical tracks stray very far from a very well beaten path. This CD is probably the last Andre Rieu CD I will buy. Sorry.
