I'm an official Jump 5 fan now, December 3, 2004
I'd bought all of Jump 5 cds prior to "Dreaming in Color". So i had an idea of what to expect....or so i thought. After one listen i was like this totally different than what i expected.
But in this case it is a very good thing. "Dreaming In Color", "Dance With Me", "In My Heart" the remix is also hot with a more ramped flow to it. I really love all the songs on this CD. I really hope Jump 5 keeps it going with the CDs in the future. If they are anything like this one.
I'm there for real. I'm also glad they decided to take their music in a different direction. So i agree with the recent review supporting Jump 5 in this.
More props are deserved.

An Impressive CD, May 20, 2005
Okay, here we go. I bought this CD because I wondered what this group of youngsters would produce musically as age began to come upon them. Well, JUMP5 is the real deal. I like almost every song on this CD, and with the acception of the lyric "It's so crazy how you make me go crazy!" from the song "Just A Dream" (track 2), I can't find many mistakes with this creation. I can't believe Mark Hammond even let such a silly lyric hit final production. But that is a minor problem. I'll get over it.
Now, one song at a time:
#1. In My Heart - The lyrics on this CD are fantastic, well-thought out and flow with the music as well as any song being played on the radio today. "When every little thing is falling apart - You're beating in my heart." This Christ-centered song really delivers a positive message about how God's Word can jump start us every day! I see Michelle Tumes helped write this one! No wonder it is so good! Great job to all involved with this creation. The perfect, energy-flled song to kick off the CD.
#2. Just A Dream - This is a good second song. But that said, this song has a lyric that sounds so generic it almost ruins the song..."It's so crazy how you make me go crazy" Grrrrr...that's just crazy! Other than that, this is a good song. Nice beat, soft, drums, cool voices.
#3. Dance With Me - Nice beat. Funny lyrics about young love without the bad stuff included. I picture JUMP5 (all four of them) dancing around as they sing this energetic (hmmm...not that they have any non-energetic songs) song.
#4. Dreaming In Color - This is not one of my favorite songs on the CD, but this song shows how JUMP5 is a versatile group. This song is not easy to perform, but JUMP5 pulls it off better than I believe any other group could. Hats off to this group that seems to know (along with their management and producers) exactly what works for them!
#5. I've Got The Music In Me - This song is awesome to listen to while your driving down the road in your ZX2 (please don't call it a Ford Escort). I cranked it up as loud as my stereo would go. Excellent job by whoever (one of the two girls) who hit the high notes in this one. This is one of the best songs JUMP5 has ever made. It rocks and is the best version of this song I have ever heard!
#6. It's A Beautiful World - Great lyrics, great music, and so completely unexpected. This song proves JUMP5 is not fading away, but just getting started. So far, this CD has been totally impressive...better than any secular CD on the market right now. I could listen to this song over and over again. Utterly fantastic! Note: I think that is the first time I've ever used the word "utterly" in a review.
#7. Mind Your Head - Not a bad song. But I'm not sure any song could match #5 and #6, so maybe that's why it seems so out of place. This isn't a bad song, it's just the others are so much better.
#8. Feels Like Falling - Good feeling, happy, puppy-love song that sounds like it could have been a remake of a 50's or 60's hit. I liked it.
#9. Dance With Me (Barnyard Remix) - Wow, great idea to add a different version of thsi song on the CD. This worked really well. Fiddle me this, fiddle me that. This one works really well turned up loud too!
#10. In My Heart - Ha! At first I thought my CD player was messing up. I liked this "faster" and "JUMPIER" (get it, jumpier?) version of this song. It works really well.
There you have it! My review of JUMP5 - Dreaming In Color. This is one of the best CDs I purchased in 2005! Well worth every penny! JUMP5 are fantastic musicians dedicated to creating music that glorifies God and the incredible universe he has created for us.
See ya next review!

Jump5 is the best!, October 1, 2004
This cd rocks! I really like the new rock sound.I know a lot of people are complaining about how they aren't singing christian songs, but they're just singing about what they go through in life.Normal teen stuff. Well, overall, the cd is great. They have a lot of great songs.I can't really pick my favorites cuz they all are, but i would have to say that Dreaming in Color,It's a Beautiful World,In my Heart and I've Got the music in me are my favorites. I'm actually listening to it right now. Can you believe how high Brittany goes in I've got the music in me (such a long title)haha. If you're a Jump5 fan, you should definitly get this album.
