This record is excellent. I was delighted to hear Dane Donohue sing "Worlds Away", for I haven't heard a recording of his great voice since the SONY re-issue of his album. AOR has a unique sound, but I am particularly impressed by the musical composition and lyrical concepts. I hope this group produces further collaborations with Dane Donohue...there is a lot of synergy evident in their performance. You can't go wrong with this CD...it's all good!

I was very excited to hear that Dane Donohue is still recording and playing live. I caught him at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame playing with the Music Explosion ("Little Bit O' Soul"). He sang the B side of their hit record. His voice filled the air and I asked one of the attendants who is the band, and just at that moment Dane was introduced as the lead singer on that tune. I flipped. I had purchased his vinyl back in the 70's and loved every song. Dreaming of L.A. is HOT with Dane's vocals on "World's Away" and the other AOR artists. Frederick is doing a fantastic job of writting and playing. This is a TWO THUMBS UP ALBUM.

AOR is back with another Westcoast highlight. this cd is a pure gem and contains the hits "worlds away" (sung by ohio's legend , DANE DONOHUE ) & "never gonna let her go" featured on many radios. the list of musicians is impressive and the cd features the talents of artists from TOTO , CHICAGO and top L.A musicians who played with stevie wonder , jewel , sting , michael jackson , tina turner, mariah carey,jackson browne , the eagles , eric clapton, madonna & many others.....
the songs are very melodic and the entire cd is well written and produced .
this is a REAL MASTERPIECE from a band which is highly rated in europe & japan.
the cd is also available from other amazon shops around the world in an european pressing which includes 2 different tracks from the japanese import !

this is truly a magnificent piece of music.
it`s a mixture of aor-westcoast.(FM meets CHICAGO)
if you don`t have it already at least go and listen to it,you`ll end up buying it.....i did.

World's Away especially caught my attention. Later, I discovered I was listening to the voice of Dane Donohue. I am very familiar with his previous work. It's great to know he is still at it. Impressive by anyone's standards!
