5.0 out of 5 stars Dreaming Of You...
Ms. Ray has surpassed her normal top level standard with Brandon's story in Dreaming of You. 5.0 out of 5 stars Dreaming Of You..., August 29, 2006
This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Ray has surpassed her normal top level standard with Brandon's story in Dreaming of You. As a reader, I have been a fan of this author for many years and have followed the Falcons' and Graysons' since the beginning. Collectively, I have enjoyed this clan, but on an individual level, Dreaming of You has now risen to that favorite spot. Ms. Ray seems to have a knack for creating the perfect romance. Her writing style is so phenomenal that it actually has you believing in the white picket fence, the 2.5 kids and most importantly happily ever after.

Faith McBride is a successful hotelier who fantasizes about a relationship with her brother's best friend, Brandon Grayson. Faith decides that before she allows Brandon's meddling mother to set him up and marry him off, she will devise a plan to make him notice her for the enticing woman that she is, instead of the kid-sister of his friends.

Brandon Grayson is on to his mother and her plan for him to be the next of her children to marry. He is determined to make sure that he remains wife free despite his mother's successful record with his older siblings. Brandon amazingly has a leak in his apartment that requires that he relocate. Fortunately for Faith, he chooses to stay at her hotel.

Now the fun really begins. This is the point where you try to determine if the romance that ensues is a coincidence, Faith's plan, or Ruth's orchestrations?
Inquiring minds want to know...Thankfully, Ms. Rays' writing ability is proven because she tells you, yet she doesn't. It is my belief that Brandon... but the book leads you to believe..., I guess you will have to buy it to see. Enjoy because I certainly did.

Oh yeah, if you have not taken the opportunity to read the previous books regarding these families, I must say that you are at a loss. I recommend that you grab the backlog and sit down for the divine literary feast that Ms. Ray presents.

5.0 out of 5 stars From Friends to Lovers, September 1, 2006
This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
I am a sucker for the best friends becoming lovers plot. I always get a kick out of watching folk realize that the love of their life was right in front of them the whole time. Ray brings freshness to this plot by adding a meddling mother and a heroine with her own plans to make the hero notice her. I loved the fact that Faith is not the perfect size six. And I adore the fact that Brandon loves her just the way she is. But what I really loved about this book was the fact that Ray weaved in their history and makes it clear to the reader that even though Brandon was slow to realize it, he has always loved and cared for Faith. The man took her to each and every one of her highschool dances! And when he realizes that he loves her, brother man goes all out! Pick this book up today! You won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ann-Romancer, August 29, 2006
This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
Ms. Ray did another superb job! It is a page turner. Brandon, what can I say, another fine and sexy male specimen.

This is the story of two friends---Brandon and Faith (who has been in love with him since high school, unbeknownst to him). His mother is determined to marry her third son off as she did her other two sons but he's not having it. Faith finally decides to try to get him to notice her as a WOMAN and not a FRIEND before his mother succeeds.

The story pulls you into Faith's endeavors and Brandon's reactions. Ms. Ray also introduces some mysterious, intriguing, and hot characters that I hope get their own stories. This is a very good read.

This is third in the Grayson series--UNTIL THERE WAS YOU and YOU AND NO OTHER are the first two, respectively.

4.0 out of 5 stars OPERATION GET BRANDON....., November 17, 2006
This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)

True to her trademark, Francis Ray has delivered
another winner in Dreaming of You. Incorporating
Grayson characters from previous novels helps create a
cohesive blend to Ms. Ray's newest novel. True to her
style of writing, the gradual attraction of Brandon
Grayson, of the infamous and gloriously handsome
Grayson men, to Faith McBride leads the reader to a
true romantic storyline filled with passion and true
love.

In her quest to have Brandon notice her for the woman
that she is and not the little sister of one of his
best friends, Faith incorporates the help of key
attractive male friends in an attempt to make
Brandon jealous. Naive in his knowledge of actually
being the target of Faith's thought-out plan, Brandon
slowly begins to see Faith as an attractive, sensual
woman who is the culprit of many sleepless nights and
cold showers. Fighting against his true feelings for
her, Brandon makes it virtually impossible for Faith
to win him over. But their explosive feelings for one
another come to a combustible point and they allow
their true feelings to take over.

In this latest Grayson saga, Francis Ray does not
disappoint her fans. This novel is filled with love
scenes that bring out the romantic in everyone. Ms.
Ray keeps her fans coming back for more especially
with her consistency in her saga series.

This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
Mrs. Ray has done it again with latest editon to the Graysons series. In this story we get to meet Brandon! Ok where can I find me one...LOL! Brandon is very sweet, charming and funny. Faith is the perfect match for Brandon. She compliments him very well and in reading this story I could really identify with Faith. And the other men Mrs. Ray introduced into the story....oh boy! (Can't wait until Blade's story). We also get to check in with the other Grayson. And Mama Grayson is one crafty lady boy! I can't wait to see what she has in store for her last 2 children.

I loved the characters in this book. Brandon fell in love with his best friend Faith. Little did he know, that his mother planned this. I love the way Francis Ray brings back characters for her previous books. I can't wait until the next book.

Book 3 of the Grayson clan is hotter than the first two.. Brandon's story will make you ooh and aah. Ladies, if you've read any of Francis Ray's books you know what I mean. I'm not going into storyline as others before me have done but I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. Ms. Ray pulls you into her story with such ease you feel as though you're sitting in the Red Cauctus or on the patio at the Casa de Serenidad watching it happen. BELIEVE ME, THIS IS A WONDERFUL READ and when you've finished you'll find yourself hunting down everything this wonderful author has written.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful Dreamer, April 18, 2007

This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
Brandon has fallen into the trap -- the love trap. In "Dreaming of You" we find Brandon trying to dodge cupid's arrow that he is sure his mother, Ruth Grayson is aiming directly at his heart. However, Brandon as Luke and Morgan both swore, is sure he will not be caught. Brandon decides to turn the tables on Ruth when he thinks she is parading women in hopes of him falling for one of them. Brandon decides to ask his friends' sister, Faith McBride, the owner of Casa de Serenaid 5-Star Hotel, to help him. Unbeknown to Brandon, Faith has no problems with this task because Faith has been dreaming of Brandon since she was a teenager and Brandon helped her by escorting her to her prom.

Faith, like Ruth, has her own agenda. However, Faith has come to the conclusion that Brandon only sees her as her brothers' younger sister and has no intention of it being anything more. Well, as Faith sees it and literally dreams it -- this is not so. Faith knows deep down that if she was not the younger sister of Brandon's friends, he would see her different and come to think of her as a love interest. Faith sets out to "open Brandon's eyes" for him. She seeks the help of her friend, the magnificient Blade Navaronne, a real estate mogul as well as a few other things. Blade comes to Faith's rescue along with a few of Blade counterparts. Faith is surrounded by handsome men showering her with affection. To Brandon's dismay, he is deeply offended by this because even though he did not admit it to Faith, he has been dreaming of her as a man dreams about the woman he loves. Brandon realizes that if he does not act and act promptly that Faith will indeed be just the woman of his dreams and another man will have taken her away. Brandon cannot bear the thought of another touching the woman of his dreams.

"Dreaming of You" is exciting with a twist of humor to keep you smiling. It is definitely a wake up call and I know some men read books, but this is definitely one that men should read.

5.0 out of 5 stars THANK YOU MS RAY, September 13, 2006
By
This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
I just finished the book, and I was very disappointed. Not with the book, or author but because I read it too quick.
This story starts off with Brandon who is running around trying not to fall in love and get married. Well like most men he is blind because love is standing right next to him, you just got to have "FAITH". I think the fact that Faith was not a size two but average size women made the story even more sweet. Brandon did not seem to notice her size, or her love for him. However someone else did, thank God for meddling mothers. Faith has loved Brandon all her life. However Brandon always thought of Faith as his best friends sister, until Faith showed him she was ALL WOMEN. Brandon notice that Faith was not only a women, but loving, sexy, caring and special. I don't think he had a chance from day one. Ms Ray has a way with families, every time I read about the Grayson, I am jealous wishing I could be a distant cousin, a friend stopping by.

This story make you believe in the power of love, and how something's are worth the wait.

Wonderful Read.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dreaming of You (The Graysons, Book 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
Hi Francis
When my bookstore call and told me book was in Dreaming Of You, you know I made that stop to the bookstore on my way home. I was so excited because I have been waiting for this book. I start reading my book that night and finished the next day. This was and is AWESOME book. I fell in love with Faith, and I like the fact that Faith is a full-figure woman it good to see that some men like full-figure women. If you are a Francis Ray fan which I am, and your love her Grayson's series this is one of the MUST BUY BOOKS. There is so much that can be written about the secondary character that you meet in her book, you will be screaming for her to continue so you can find out what is going to happen.

I for one can't wait for Pierce & Sierra story next year can't get here fast enough for me.

Thanks
Louise
