I watched and listened to this young star as he mesmerized an entire theater, including me, on a Sunday PBS special. Not since Charlotte Church, has any child delighted my ears like Michael Junior. Although his performance is available on VHS, like me, you'll enjoy the convenience of carrying this one with you. Having said that, there was no substitute to actually seeing this gifted, young man sing his heart out. I assure you; you won't be disappointed. You'll hear classical music like you've never heard it before, sung by a clear, new voice that guarenteed to turn this market upside down.

I believe this is a truly magnificent album, unlike any I have heard recently except those of Helmut Lotti. Perfect? Hardly, but pretty close. Generally child singers gain their fame for only a short while and they gain that success based more on the novelty of their age than on their talent. Currently, at the beginning of 2001, there are at least four child singers who are popular: Charlotte Church the 14-year-old opera singer; Billy Gilman the 12-year old country singer; Aaron Carter the 13-year old rock singer; and 13-year-old Michael Verschuere (Michael Junior.) The first three, I am sure have limited careers ahead of them. Aaron Carter has no voice of any particular distinction; Billy Gilman, while cute and sings well, is pretty much a standard boy soprano very likely to lose his "sound" as he grows older; Charlotte Church has a pure bell-like soprano, but her voice is not maturing well. It is thin and often annoying in its knife-like sharpness; Michael, on the other hand has many things going for him: his voice is truly beautiful, full, resonant, and malleable. He has excellent control over voice, breath and color. He is able to sing just about anything, but usually chooses songs that are big, complex, and challenging both for himself and for his audience. In addition he has an amazing natural sense of showmanship as demonstrated in his PBS concert called "Dreamland." I'm quite sure that he alone of this group has the potential of rising above the novelty of his age and having a long career into his adult years. Buy this album. You will not be disappointed.

I also saw Michael Junior's performance on PBS. I fell in love with his talent immediately. Whenever I'm feeling low, I play his CD, especially his song, "Friends". I feel instantly uplifted. Truly, he is one of God's gifts for all of us to enjoy. Does anyone know how I can get his VHS tape of "Dreamland"? I highly recommend this CD to all, but if you do want the German version, you must order the "Traumland" CD.

I haven't had the opportunity of listening to Michael Junior's CD as of yet(I just finished ordering it), but my daughter and I were able to watch him perform last night on our PBS channel, and we were totally captivated by Michael's youth and innocense yet seemingly possessing the maturity and knowledge of all ages. Michael has a rare and truly God-given gift. When we saw him last night "Wayne Newton" came to mind - the easy flow of the words, absolutely fantastic! It is rare to see a performer where the words just flow as easily as a river to the ocean. My daughter and I will definitely keep our eyes on anything that this brillantly talented young man brings into this world

This artist has an unusually wonderful voice....haunting in an innocent way. To say he is a child prodigy is a true understatement................I can't listen enough to him!

I saw Michael Junior on PBS and loved the music. Unfortunately the Dreamland version from Amazon.com has none of the songs in German. You must order the Traumland version to get the German songs.

People who enjoy good and inspirational music don't need me to affirm their choice for this CD. Michael Junior is so natural and passionate in his singing, a talent that simply could not be faked and done well. The combination of his age, appearance and talents makes him a very charming singing artist. I have purchased his video and CD to inspire my two choirs at school and church. God bless him for singing such meaningful music, something other than those shallow few-word pop tunes for a change!

When ever I get boared with regular tv which is quite often I always switch to PBS. What an encounter when I watched Helmut Lotti and Michael Juinor Dreamland. The gifts that God gives us are right there in up comming stars like Michael Juinor, Charlet Church and the likes of these young people who are allready international stars and will go forth with their fortune that God has given them. Dreamland was beautiful, powerful, happy and what can I say but great. If you have a chance to see the production don't miss it. He is becomming the next Andrea Bochelli.

It is absolutely essential to have Michael Junior's Dreamland/Traumland CD and/or video! My introduction to this splendid young gentleman occured while viewing a PBS special wherein "Santa Lucia" was sung at a level on par with the likes of Bocelli or Pavarotti. Unreal! I soon realized that this was no teeny-bopper waiting to be discovered in a star-search competition. This was HIS show and HE was the star! There are not enough superlatives that could be written about this venerable performer and the quality of his voice. Realize that he was only 13 when this CD was made! What an accomplishment. He turns 15 in April. I listen to his CD hours on end. It brings me a smile and it uplifts my spirit. You can hear cheerfulness and delight in Michael's voice. If you have the video you can see it in his eyes. His musical selections range from playful and light(Friends, Le Magicien) to more classical standards (Panis Angelicus, Ave Maria). "Il Mondo," demonstrates his dynamic and versatile vocal range in strength, depth, and control. It is hauntingly beautiful. You can hear slight accents but it adds to the flavor and appeal all the more. True, there are a few other notable young singers, however, Michael Junior is like the "Tiger Woods" at this musical level. He is charismatic, endearing , and with looks to boot! He is a blessing and a God-send. I wish he were my nephew!

"God Almighty!" was all I kept thinking and repeating aloud as I listened to Michael's "Dreamland" CD for the first time. Without any hesitation whatsoever, I immediately forked over the $20 for the CD and now I play it several times a day. It has NEVER left my CD player, not even once, since I bought it over a week ago. I'm getting goose bumps even as I type this, just thinking about his magical and glorious voice. Some of these songs that Michael sings are so stirring and so beautiful that I've caught tears from my eyes. This is the best CD I've owned, now or in the past. And I've bought and listened to literally thousands. This music moves me to the point that I feel that I can transcend any obstacle in the universe; Michael's powerful voice just catapults my soul right into the universe!! MY GOD, this boy can really sing!! See--listen--for yourself! I say to you, be prepared -- his voice is captivating and there's no telling what effect he will have on YOU!
