The classic LP version of Dreamlover is beautiful and fun. The other 5 mixes on this CD take the song one step further and convert it to a club hit. The CD is very different from hits you may hear now that deafen you with its bass. Dreamlover still comes across as fun and free, just extended in its remixes. I think the CD is worth buying for those of you who are diehard fans, but also for those of you who just love to bump oldie club hits. The CD does have a very early nineties, almost nostalgic sound.

I remember the very first time I heard this song in 1993. My mom was watching TV and she said a new Mariah Carey video was going to be on so I saw the video and I just fell in love with this song!!! Dreamlover is one of my all time favorites from her and I love how it's so upbeat and I love Mariah's high note at the very beginning!! Whenever Dreamlover is on, I dance and sing along to it!!

I love all the versions of Dreamlover too. There is the album version, the Club Joint Mix (featured on the Hero CD single), Def Club Mix, Def Instrumental, USA Love Dub, Eclipse Dub and the Def Tribal Mix and I love all of them!!! There were two CD singles released for Dreamlover. One has 6 different versions, the album version, Def Club Mix, Def Instrumental, USA Love Dub, Eclipse Dub and the Def Tribal Mix. My favorite club mixes are the Def Club Mix because you'll hear this piano throughout the entire song and the Eclipse Dub because of this really awesome and unique music throughout, it's so awesome!!!. The other CD single for Dreamlover has the album version and Do You Think Of Me? which is one of Mariah's best B-sides!!

Do You Think Of Me? is another amazing ballad that just totally takes my breath away and if you don't have it, you need to get it as soon as possible!!! I love Do You Think Of Me? musically, vocally, and lyrically, it's just so incredible!!! Please get this CD single with Do You Think Of Me? as soon as possible if you don't have it!!!

Dreamlover is originally from the 1993 album, Music Box which I also own and I also recommend getting the CD single of Hero which has THE BEST Mariah Carey B-Side EVER, Everything Fades Away!!! This incredible ballad, Everything Fades Away, takes my breath away even more than Do You Think Of Me? but not by a whole lot since both Everything Fades Away and Do You Think Of Me? are so incredible and powerful!!! Mariah's songs are so amazing!! Songs like these are the reason Mariah is #1!!!

I can't remember when I first heard do you think of me, but I do remember going on a quest to find this rare tune, it is by far one of the best songs she has.

the best star is mariahcarey to me im obsesed with her and i rate her a five because she has a wonderful 5 octive voice. and she did a real good job on her album dreamlover and the song dreamlover. shes been doing real good all through her coreer.

"Dreamlover" is one of the greatest songs EVER... It hooked me onto Mariah, and millions of others out there... There are some awesome remixes on the Maxi Single, so it's a plus if you love "Dreamlover." If you are a big fan or Mariah's, buy it 'cause you collection isn't complete without it!

For some unexplainable reason, the Def Tribal Mix on this maxi-single brings out the "native" in me. It's just one of those bass-laden tracks that makes one want to return to his primal, unbridled beginnings.

Actually, "Dreamlover" in its original LP form is quite good. But, the aforementioned mix takes the singer and song to a totally different, and more exciting level.

The cd was okay but it didn't have the single that was I looking for which was "Do You think of Me" some of the single Dreamlover CD's have it and some don't so once I get the chance I'm sending it back

I have loved this tune ever since I was a wee Lad, still singing my heart out. I love it even more now (at least I think). When I was small though my song was Fantasy by Mariah. The video was intoxicating and it was unlike anything I'd ever heard.

The sample is Tom Tom's Genius of Love and was geniusly used (no pun intended).

I will always love this angel with a voice although her vocals these days could use less whisper and more vocal prowess like '95 and earlier showcased.

Do You Think Of Me is wonderful too. Not as good as Dreamlover but close. I love the vocals in this wonderful B-Side.
