5.0 out of 5 stars ITALIAN BLACK METAL, November 29, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Dreamquest (Audio CD)
This is an italian band of atmospheric black metal, with lots of keyboards, flutes and female vocals. The question is: how can these guys be able to sound so original??? This cd came after their excellent DT "The Dark Dreamquest" (1994) and features a more technical (take care: no guitar solos or death metal riffs here) black metal than "The Saga of the Horned King", what was their debut.
Highly recommended to those who appreciate raw BM but with a touch of magic from Italy!!!
Hail italian Black Metal!!!
Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth (...)!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent release by an underrated band., February 6, 2001
This review is from: Dreamquest (Audio CD)
To be as brief as possible, I'll comment on the album overall. First of all if ur here this means u have either a great music taste or ur just curious. Either one is healthy! This album has one of the best black metal songs ever, Sad doom of a sad soul (track2). The vocals on the album are not the best u can hear, the female vocals seem to be louder than the instruments (you'll know what I mean when u hear it) the melodies are excellent, the riffs are heavy and as black as u can want them. The production is poor. One last thing is that there are many interludes here, and they're not very inspiring...but all in all I give it 4 stars because it deserves it. This album rare now a days so if u can find one GET IT! You won't be dissappointed but no high expextations here. Enjoy!!
