5.0 out of 5 stars A "new" Yanni sound
When I listen to this album for the first time, I diden't belive that some tribute artists was aviable to make even better versions than the original. But I must say that, after listning to it for several times i love the way they make the versions of wellknown Yanni tracks. I get in a very special relaxed "holliday" feeling, when I go on the highway in my car...

2.0 out of 5 stars Why?
Why bother to get this album when you can listen to the original person? And with the popularity of CD Burners, you can compile your own "best of" disks (until anti copy technology takes hold).

If the sample tracks here sound anything at all like the full album, then this sounds more to me like something I would expect to hear in a store playing over the...

If the sample tracks here sound anything at all like the full album, then this sounds more to me like something I would expect to hear in a store playing over the Muzak system. While that may be fine if I am trying to put myself to sleep, I usually don't listen to music with that in mind. Stick to the original artists. It is a rare bird that can come along and make an original sound better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Yanni tribute, September 6, 2000

Absolutely astonishing!!

Take it from me! - I have never thougt a tribute anything more than a means of making money of something that others invented and produced!

But this particular tribute really touched me! Anybody who ever heard the real thing will know that Yanni has a way of making you feel the music rather than hearing it!

I am impressed that these artists have succeeded in creating the same sense of feeling the music and yet maintaining their own identity without directly copying the master himself!

I can only give this record the highest rating ever thought of!

If you find my rating too enthusiastic, you have gotten the message I wanted to convey!!!
