Praise for
"My Dreams, Challenges and Joys"

A poignant account by a woman who learns life-affirming lessons from her autistic daughter.
Jannazzo's straightforward, moving narrative chronicles how her daughter's autism transformed the author's life. The author does not attempt to be heroic, she confesses how life with her daughter was challenging. These admissions give necessary depth and pathos to the book. Jannazzo's compelling anecdotes about Diana prove to be the true source of inspiration.
A reminder to look past a diagnosis and see a person in full.

--Kirkus Reviews

"Open your arms as well as your heart and look deep inside your soul and feel your bond with your child as I do mine, conquer your fears about their future and just love them as love is the one part of us that they truly understand," writes Linda
A. Jannazzo, the mother of a special needs child.  This book will be an inspiration to those who read it, flowing as it does from amusing to frank to sad.   It is a short, sweet chronology of an ordinary family with extraordinary challenges, written by a caring, energetic, and determined parent.

After being inspired by the obstacles and triumphs through the eyes of this strong, loving Mother, I was elated that my 8 year old son chose to read "My Dreams, Challenges and Joys" to me before bed. Immediately taken by Dee's mischievous behavior, Linda's story pulled my son in and quickly opened a window of opportunity to shed light on many questions he held concerning children with special needs. Unfortunately, bullying is cruel and common in school and beyond. It is especially important for children to understand ALL children are made with the same ingredient. LOVE! as delineated in Linda's sincere and beautifully written book.

such a beautifully written account of the Jannazzo's trials and tribulations raising a child with autism. Brought tears to my eyes many times throughout the book. Certainly feel that the book enlightens you to realize that most often decisions must be made in the best interest of the afflicted person. Dee wouldn't be the adult she is today if the Jannazzo's had selfiously made different choices and decisions. Excellent book.

A very well written memoir that held my attention from beginning to end. The love for her daughter Diana is so very evident. The determination shown by Linda and her husband to establish a community designed to care for those with autism, filling the need for continuing care in a loving environment which allows them to reach their fullest potential, is amazing. Read the book in one sitting and can't wait for the next book to be written.
