5.0 out of 5 stars A most unsual, original Futuristic Romance, May 31, 2000
This review is from: Dreams of Destiny (Paperback)
Esme, because of the strange hue of her green eyes and the mystery of her father's identity lives the life of an outcast. She is a strong telepath, and possesses other powers which her people fear and will kill her for if only they knew. All her life, she had dreamed of travel amongst the stars and one special man.

Raul is that man, and captain of the ship Condor which is forced to land on a planet his men term Hell. Even though Raul is strongly attracted to Esme, his duty is to the officers under his command and the Empire. He wants to believe that Esme is a Seductress, working for the Rebels because he cannot accept his strong feelings for her.

Because Esme is a strong telepath needed by the Empire and he devoted to his duty to the Empire, he knows that they can never have a future together.

This book ends where they are forced to part, Esme to undergo training of her gifts and Raul, to continue serving the Empire. In their hearts, they vow to meet again one day.

Unless you can find a copy of the book/s after this one, then save reading this till then. It's a good read, although a bit fustrating while I search for the other books.
