Diana is my new favorite female vocalist. She is a true gem. I am eagerly anticipating her new album. If this single is any indication, it will be memorable. Everyone should buy a copy of DREAMS and cherish it forever because it will be one of the best pieces of music that you ever spend money on. I can't believe she's only 17. What a great start to such a promising career.

Diana DeGarmo does have an old soul in her young body like Simon said but this is a compliment not an insult like Simon tried to make it - you can feel it in her music. She is the best 17-year-old singer I have ever heard. All three songs on the CD are excellent. It is more than worth your money to buy this CD. I absolutely cannot wait until her first full CD release and a long happy career.

Since Idol the young Diana DeGarmo has been quite busy. I never hesitate to listen to this 3 song classic. Dreams --sung gorgeously and with passion.. so little to work with. Don't cry out loud defines the song with a new perfection. I Believe - aside from the corny lyrics.. contains such purity, it could inspire an elder, yet, put a baby to sleep. Just excellent..

Diana was one of my favorite contestants, but this CD, which seems to have been rushed, is a bit disappointing. Diana still shows she can sing (and that she's infinitely better than the overrated, non-singer "Donald Duck on helium"), but her songs have no feelings and the range, especially of "Dreams" and "I Belive," not appropriate for her voice (there's no rule that says that a song has to be sung a certain key: it should be adjusted to the singer's voice).

If you want to hear how "Don't Cry Out Loud" should be sung, look for (Shanghai International Song Festival 2004 winner and Search for a Star Philippines 2003 winner) Rachel Ann Go's CD.

It is a well deserved 5 stars. Can't wait for the debut CD!! Diana is a powerhouse with soulful emotion.

I was a staunch supporter of Diana throughout AI. Voted for her faithfully each week! I was waiting for this single...had it in my player before my car even left the parking lot. I was expecting much more from this single, and I reluctantly admit I'm very disappointed. It wasn't near my expectations, based on her performances on the show. There just wasn't the connection anymore, and I found the songs a bit flat. Wondering if she rushed to get a single out when more time should have been taken producing and arranging these songs. She should know them well enough by now to sing them better. :( Hopefully she'll work harder on a full CD, and it will be worth purchasing!

Diana is nothing short of Dyanamite! I'm so sick of raspy,indecipherable lyrics,screaming, and sex sounds in today's music. I have a fifteen year old daughter and encourage her to listen to Diana's music. It's clean,pure and beautiful. She's back to the basics of music, and adds her own special touch. This girl has pure,raw talent and outdoes any version of I Believe I've ever heard. She changes it to make her own. What a powerful, beautiful version. This version could given a win on AI. Highly recommended for all. Awesome,beautiful,and inspiring! "Dreams" is sweet with excellent instrumentals and "Don't Cry out Loud exhibits a lot of emotion,controlled power, and a subdued expression. I did not like "I Believe" on the show, but Diana's version is extremly moving and inspirational. Like Fantasia said "She a powerhouse."

I have to say I was a bit afraid to listen to this single, because I expected her studio recordings to be far less impressing than her American Idol performances. After hearing her song on the collective album, which wasn't very good, I really had doubts about Diana's capacity. But she has definitely proven me wrong with these three gems.

"Dreams" is one of the best power ballads in months, and she demonstrates the Celine-like magnitude of her voice. The ending of the song is simply breathtaking.

Then there's the song that was her top AI performance, "Don't Cry Out Loud". Unfortunately, this does not live up to the live version, mainly because it doesn't sound modern at all; it had me wondering if they just used the original music Melissa Manchester used. Nevertheless, the song is still really good.

The third track is "I Believe". I loathed this song at first because it was basically a gospel song, which was so much in favor of Fantasia. Don't get me wrong, I like both, I just thought it was unfair. To my delight, the annoying "love keeps me lifting me higher" part at the end was cut from the song and that definitely suits Diana a lot better.

Pick this single up, it's worth the money.

Diana might not have won American Idol 3 but she has an amazing voice. I just bought the three song cd "Dreams" and each song she sings is incredible. The song Dreams brings me to tears; it really is beautiful.

I am very impressed with this single. All 3 songs are beautiful, sang flawlessly. She conveys emotion wonderfully. Such a delightful singer.
