Book Description

January 1, 2000
Step back in time and discover how a fraudulent representation of history led to the denigration of women, and shrouded the truth of one man's efforts to make a difference.

Discover information that came to the author in recurring dreams told as an intensely emotional story filled with intriguing details. Book One, of the Triolgy, begins with the little girl who would become Yeshua's mother, Maria Meminia.

Maria is born into the wealthy Marius family of Northern Italy. Her sixth birthday is marked by a major trauma which is too painful for her conscious memory. Moving forward in time, Maria's early betrothal unleashes a sequence of dramatic events triggered by the unearthing of her buried past. Fear and despair cause her to flee her homeland with the one man who offers to be her ally. Journey with them through the lush backdrop of ancient Rome, and on to the elegant city of Alexandria, Egypt, which is not the safe haven it promises to be

5.0 out of 5 stars A woman to admire!, March 13, 2000

This review is from: Dreams of the Heart (Paperback)
This book is a fascinating journey full of colour, emotions and absorbing characters. The story provides a setting that humanises Jesus's mother, Mary, in a way most woman can relate to despite the historical context. This is the first time that Mary is portrayed as a real human of strength and determination. It seems fitting that only such a woman could give birth to Jesus Christ.

I only hope book two is soon on the shelves!

5.0 out of 5 stars This book can change your life!, January 30, 2000

Greg (Portland, Oregon) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dreams of the Heart (Paperback)
A friend sent me this book last week, and I could not put it down. This is a story about the man we know as Jesus Christ and the incredible people who brought him into our world. Told in novel format, (and incredibly well written--Oy! the descriptions of the surroundings!) the book tells a coming of age story of Mary and the trials she endures on her path to becoming a woman, and eventually the mother of Jesus. Absent, however are the old ideals of Christianity that have held court for centuries teaching people to live in fear , repenting for their sins. This is instead a story about living in love, and the incredible people who brought a loving man into our history. It changed my life, and can change forever how you view women in history.

5.0 out of 5 stars Deep healing and lots of fun!, March 23, 2000

The story reads so quickly, yet the depth of my emotions was tremendous. My heart and soul were warmed, bathed in incredible love, and healed as I experenced this story. The emotions Maria felt and her expereinces were very real to me. The change in her mother was so incredible, and her father's actions were amazing! I am eager to read Susan's next book.
