Elucidating
I am still wading through it but I am impressed. Kingwell has the ability to cover topics that most "philosophers" would find too popular to address.His recent cover essay in Harper's was also extremely elucidating.

Wait for the millennium to arrive first.
I do not agree with all he says, and some of what he says is "flat out wrong." But the book is readable, and drives home the point that the only people who need worry unduly over the millennium enjoy the luxury to think about it.
