Not only does this book present the judeo-christian basis for dream analysis and tie it in admirably with Jung, but it also emphasizes the general uselessness of "dream dictionaries", since you are the only person who can adequately determine the meaning of your dream. The book then provides a multitude of different techniques that give you all the tools you will ever need to explore the meaning of your dreams and the significance of those dreams to your waking life.

As one of the authors I can state that one of the key issues this book is dealing with is, do you follow your own personal wishes and desires in life or do you follow a greater guidance which can come through working with dreams. If you choose to follow a greater source than yourself then use the methods in this book to tune into what a wiser source than yourself is trying to teach you through your dreams. But you cannot unlock the gate to your wisdom source if you do not actively work with your dreams, called dreamwork, as well as other primary intuitions which come from a center greater than oneself. Be prepared to confront the religious issue, whom do you ultimately serve? And does your commitment manifest on a daily or weekly basis?

the techniques used gives the individual useful tools for, not only intrepretation of dream symbols, scenes, events ect., I have also found the methods very useful in "waking life".

This book present a variety of ways to understand the symbol messages contained in dreams. Easy to read and well thought out. It has enhanced my spiritual understanding of my life.
