3.0 out of 5 stars Some redeeming value..., February 3, 2004
By Alyx "deaexmachina" (Notre Dame, Indiana) - See all my reviews
"Dreams That Rot In Your Heart" and "Two Wires Thin" both appared on 16 Volt's Letdowncrush, one of the band's latter-day works that purists panned almost as universally as Chemlab's East Side Militia. Regardless of your feelings about that album, this single just might be worth picking up for the cover of Cypress Hill's "I Aint Goin Out Like That," which, while not totally evoking the edgy production values Fluffy added to the Wisdom album, has a nice dirty feel to it along with some novelty value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kim Martin's Review, February 19, 2000
By kim martin (omaha nebraska) - See all my reviews
This single is the best stuff out there. In my opinion, LET DOWN CRUSH is the best album by this band, and this single is cool. Now that 16 Volt is no more and RE-CON is not making cds by them anymore buy it now while you still can!

2.0 out of 5 stars What happened?, May 22, 2001
By "skulliest" (Edmonton, Alberta Canada) - See all my reviews
...This album is a very, very far cry from the noisy, nine track wonder Wisdom, which is by far my favorite by Eric Powell. It doesn't even come close to matching up with supercoolnothing, Demography or Skin. The riffs are boring and the lyrics are awful. Eric has succeeded in stripping away everything that I liked about his other CD's. Plus, I can honestly find something extremely annoying in every song, except A Cloth Like Gauze. This is the CD's only redeeming song that I could find. So save your money and buy any of the CD's I mentioned here with the exception of Letdowncrush. If you are a huge 16 Volt fan, then pick this up. Maybe you'll like it more than I did...
