5.0 out of 5 stars I bought this Album when it was first released., June 27, 2008

It is still a timeless classic that very few people have heard or even know about. "Dreamweaver" (my favorite) and "History of a Time to Come" are Sabbat's best works. Fans of 80's Speed metal will like all of the songs on both albums. Their album "Mourning Has Broken" was a Ronnie James Dio knockoff and no where near as good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best Sabbat album, November 4, 2007

Although it is hard to understand the lyrics without reading them, the music itself is hard and melodic. Listen to the album and if you can find it, read the book it is based on, "The Way of Wyrd." Both Excellent.

Thrash epic. If you like thrash metal you will like this. The original production sounded good to me, but the updated sound and live tracks make this worthwhile even if you have the original.

This is the second time I purchase this album. The first run on CD was good but the only problem I had was the tracks were not properly divided. This one is a Remaster of the same album, but it fixed those problems, added more liner notes and added 3 Live tracks. I highly encourage any Metalhead to give this album a try. You will not regret it.

I think this is an awesome CD. I had them a while back on Cassette, but the darn thing went bad on me. Because the band was no longer around, I had the hardest time getting any information on how to get this CD. Once Amazon had it available for less than the 100 dollars someone before was offering to sell it for, I snatched it up quick. It may not be their HARDEST music, but to me it was their BEST music. I play it all the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my all time favorite albums, March 15, 2007
This review is from: Dreamweaver (Audio CD)
A already great album with better production, can't go wrong with that. I was really shocked when I heard that they were going to re-release this album along with "History of a Time to Come" This is worth picking up even if you own the original version (which now I own both). The bonus live tracks production is not the greatest in production but definately worth having. After hearing this album for the first time back in 1990 changed the way I look at many bands today.

This is Sabbat's 2nd album. I got it on cassette when it first came out and I still love it. If you get this album make sure you get the lyrics they are very poetic and I like how the singer chose his phrases. The recording is raw, intense, and brutalizing. This is a must have for anyone into the 1980's thrash metal. Sabbat did a 3rd albumwithou the original singer and I didn't like it. Their original singer Martin Walkyier then went on to sing with a Folk Metal band called Skyclad. My favorite was The Wayward Sons of Mother Earth(It is the fastest and heaviest of all the Skyclad albums. They went more Folkish after their first album. Martin has now left skyclad and formed one last musical project called The Clan Destined(anEP). Now he said(the last I heard)he going to write books.
