5.0 out of 5 stars Sharing Magda's world, December 12, 2009
This review is from: Dreamworld (Paperback)
Magda Herzberger's DREAMWORLD provides the reader with a fascinating experience. The author glides in and out of a fantasy world so convincingly that it carries the reader along effortlessly and delightfully.

Madga's message is intertwined with her real life's experiences. Her goals to instill the reader with a love for poetry and an appreciation for the beauty of life while simultaneously keeping alive the horrors of the holocaust appear to be supremely met in a neat little book entitled DREAMWORLD.

In her teen years, Magda suffered indescribable cruelty as a Holocaust survivor. In her later years she is determined to use that experience to prove her unshakable trust in God, the source of all love and goodness. Her story attests to the depths of utter degradation of which humans are capable, as well as the peace and joy that can be experienced by placing one's life in God's Hands. We as humans make the choice.

This reader has been privileged to share Magda's world by hearing her oral presentations numerous times, and has read all her published works. With each new contribution from Magda's pen, she has gained new insights. Magda leaves an eloquent message to posterity!

5.0 out of 5 stars destined to be a classic, June 28, 2009

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Dreamworld (Paperback)

Magda uses vivid imagery in this book to lead her reader on an exploration within a dream landscape. She connects the dreams with the biographical facts of her waking life but must go deeper into their significance to understand their message to her now as a spiritual being. Ultimately, she reconciles the existential issues stirred up in her dreams. She brings the reader with her to a point of acceptance and hence, peace of mind.

Magda's book is a gift. She demonstrates mastery with classic metaphors that have universal relevancy. Her book would appeal to anyone.
