It's a nice book but it has nothing to do with Might and Magic.

More than an RPG spinoff.,

Geary Gravel has a delicious prose style, and his
characters stay with you for a long time; kindness,
sense of wonder, and poetry emanate from all his original
work. (Look for THE PATHFINDERS, THE ALCHEMISTS, and
the Fading Worlds series.) When he turns his hand
to elaborating on an existing scenario (in this case,
a role-playing game), he creates a novel that you'll
enjoy even if you've never heard of the game.
