I have no real complaints about this item. It basically does one thing, hold my cut off wheels to the Dremel. It's really simple to change out disks, I just grab the disk and turn it and the screw usually will turn with it. That way I don't have to get out a tiny screw driver.I then put the screw through a new disk, hold my finger over the screw, and turn the mandrel in the dremel with my hand until the screw tightens and quits turning. I have yet to have a disk cut through the screw. I am only replacing the original mandrel I had for years because I misplaced it.

These work for what they are but they are kind of a pain to change out with the little set screw. If you are doing any heavier duty cutting with the wheels expect it to be pretty time consuming between breaking the wheels and the time it takes to unscrew the screw to put a new wheel on and screw it back in. Shoot for the fiberglass reinforced wheels to use in combination with this they are heavier duty then the so called "heavy duty" cutting wheels.

Get it for back-up. The price is a little high for some small metal like this, but anyway when you want something, you have to pay for it. It is just a simple mandrel, and It is 100% exactly the same mandrel that comes with my Black & Decker RTX-B 3 Speed RTX Rotary Tool. They probably have made it in China for less than 10 cents.Over-priced, totally.
