These bad boys are the real deal, just got through a computer case used one blade for about 4-5 hours and i can safely say i only reduced the wheel to about 40% of its original circumference. I got an off brand kit as a gift and it came with 10 of these blades i went through 3 of them in less than 2 hours or so, so ill say it loud and clear don't even think of buying and off brand these are 5 dollars and they are all you need.

Nice thick wheels built to last. Single one of these lasts me through a few months of small projects. No problems cutting steel / wood.

The are OK for small jobs in tight places. They do last longer than the thinner ones sold by Dremel that don't
have "REINFORCED" printed on them but not as long as the type of the same size that are made for their EZ-
Lock system. They are a pain to change out. If I could find a cheaper alternative that performed as well or better
then I would be giving 3 stars. The EZ-Lock ones are a better value and much easier to change.

I didn't realize this when I bought them, but they are a 1/4 inch smaller diameter than the normal cut off wheels that came with my set. They lasted about the same length as the metal 1 1/2" wheels did except they were harder to use in my situation because they were shorter and didn't have that extra reach the metal ones did. I went through about 2 1/4 wheels cutting a approx 5x8 hole in my truck for modified speakers. The normal 1 1/2" metal ones took about 1 and 3/4 wheels.
So to me they performed roughly the same except less reach initially and I swear the SPARK a heck of a lot more than the others! Can't complain about the price though.

I use these cut-off wheels for a lot of metal/bolt cutting purposes—aluminum trim, stuck plumbing parts, even stainless steel . They break off when I don't control the tool carefully enough, so having 10 or 20 wheels on hand is important.

Had to cut a new threshold to fit the door in my unit. Naturally, nothing was square or uniform in the doorway. Cutting the new threshold to fit was a piece of cake with this reinforced cut-off wheel.

I've known of Dremel ever since they first came out when I was in college, as it was the hot tool at the time. However, I never owned one. Even 10 years later, I still never owned one but always wanted one. Luckily my wife bought me one for Christmas.

I had a good idea of how Dremels worked, but never actually used one. Therefore it was a surprise when I was using it for a grill modification project 2 weeks ago and saw my Dremel 420 Cut-Off Wheels go down to nubs. I didn't realize that some of the "tips" were wore down with usage. It was a beginner's mistake on my part.

Searching around, I found that Dremel sells the 426 Fiberglass reinforced Cut-Off wheels, which is supposed to last longer than the 420 wheels and are actually recommended over them. Although I'm not sure how fiberglass reinforcement causes them to last longer but I can attest that they definitely do last longer.

Great product.
