Great little Dremel bit!,

I just got this in the Dremel Cleaning/Polishing kit, intending to use the felt wheels and rouge to polish some gun parts and smooth them out. Well after about an hour of almost no progress, I looked at this little bit and said "hmmmm..." Wasn't sure exactly what it was yet, but gave it a try. Fantastic! Worked much better than the polishing compound, with less mess from compound slinging everywhere, and did a better job, faster! didn't seem to remove hardly any metal, helped smooth out minor toolmarks and general minor scratches and gave a nice even finish. I was using it on stainless, so not sure how much it will remove on softer metals...
I'm going to have to get more of these!

Rubbing Compound Inside,

Easier and cleaner to use than rubbing compound. Works great on stainless steal. I don't have a Dremel so I stuck it in a drill.--Update-- This is really the only polishing wheel you need if the object your polishing is not badly scratched or needs smoothing. If the object is smooth I would recommend ordering two. Chances are that you'll either wear just one of them out in no time or you think of other things to polish when you do. I just ordered 2 more for the second time. For my first polishing attempt I used a drill. Since then I acquired a Roto Zip. Big difference. Less torque more speed. There is no telling what I am going to polish next...

I bought this polishing wheel specifically to clean/polish my watches which have been very scratched up over the past 5 years. It took only 5-10 minutes per watch and they look brand new! Definitely recommend and it is very affordable.

Did ten times better then I expected. Took all the minor scratches off a Snap On Tool.
