It worked well and made the job much easier.

Like almost ever other Dremel bit, it is useless and will end up in the trash.
Amy Lynn Erwin
I used it anyhow on the ceramic floor tile; Not surprisingly, It didn't cut.

The tool is sharp and strong but easy to burn if you push too hard or cut for too long. It will last much longer if you can apply water to the cut as you work.

I opted to pick this bit up online instead of hitting the local stores. The price was also a deciding factor. The price was 10% less on Amazon as well. I use this bit primarily to cut patterns into terracotta pots and it works perfectly.

The bit grinds rather than cuts. Cutting a 3" notch in a piece of porcelin tile took about 30 minutes. Very tedious. I would think there are better alternatives.

I work with plastics and aluminum a lot.

I've discovered that this bit is great for punching small holes, grinding inside-edges to precision-shapes and rounding outside corners. I use a battery-powered rotary tool, hold it like a pencil and gently carve into the materials.

If you're a computer case-modder, you may find it an indispensable aid.

Beware that plunging the spinning bit quickly into plastic may generate enough heat to lock it in. The trick is to take your time and carve away a little bit at a time and if you're drilling a hole with it, to use a slow in-out motion.

While this bit did cut my ceramic tile, it would have taken all day to cut on 12x12 tile. Use a wet saw or grinder instead. I will keep this in my Dremel case ,but it will be collecting dust.

So far, I used this to shave a quarter inch off one wall tile. I ran the Dremel with bit along the edge a few times and it worked perfectly. Had to go gently since the bit will cut deep and fast. Great product!

Dremel qualifies this product by saying you should not cut ceramic floor tile, I tried it anyway since it was the only option and it worked ok. This is mainly for trimming so if you have large cuts to do look for another method.

As a handyman I use these bits all the time. They save a load of time and versitility.
