As with any battery operated power tool, having two or more batteries on hand is always nice. I purchased a second battery in addition to the one that came with my Dremel to catch the cases where I would be half way through a task and the battery would run out. Both the original battery and this battery keep a good and consistent charge. I haven't run into any trouble with them.

I may be a little bias but I feel a lot of times Dremel cannot do nothing wrong as far as there products go. the only true fault I see sometimes is that they can lower there prices a bit because with lot of stuff they are on the steep side. But as far as quality goes I feel almost no one can touch Dremel for there products.
