For those of you who own the dremel that has the sanding bit, I would definitely get this. I tried just buying sand paper and putting that on the end of the tool it just tears apart regular sand paper the thickness of this is very different, more thick and tougher.

These sanding pads are a very good buy. I think that they are very heavy duty and last well considering the abuse that they are put through.

The tool, of course, is great and I am happy with Amazon selling all the products that go with the Multi-Max Dremel Tool. We have used this tool for all kinds of household projects from tile jobs, woodworking projects, building projects both for the house and in the house and will continue to use it for many more.

We bought these pads in June 2011 and still have a bunch left. As I said before I think the price was good (I like to be able to just sit down and order what I need and have it delivered in a week or so). Sure I could probably find them cheaper somewhere else, but how much would the shipping be or if I bought them from Home Depot or Lowes then how much of my gas, time and money will that take. I live in the San Joaquin Valley area (Central Valley, CA) and it is as hot as, well let's just say it's hot here and the least amount of time I have to spend driving around to purchase supplies the happier I am. Sure all the cars we own have AC, but you still have to step outside the car to get to the inside of the store. So, for me this is a good deal. You've got to decide what is important to you, spending a little extra for home delivery from somewhere like Amazon (who has always treated us right) or buying from someone who might charge high shipping costs or driving around wasting both gas and time. I know where I will buy these when I run out...Amazon.com

The variable speed allows me to access areas I could not in the past. The paper lasts longer than other brands I have used in the past.

There's a perfect grit in this package for just about any job. I've used them successfully for 3 jobs already.

It's just sandpaper, so it comes as no surprise that it works like one would expect.
The multi-tool is a great product, and I use it more than I thought I would.
I wish that I could find another source for this sandpaper because it really is expensive, and wears out fast.

My multi-max is my new favorite tool. Then add on all the attachments like this, and it just gets better. This has saved my so much time and effort. Has allowed me to "knock out" all those little nagging jobs. However the wife keeps coming up with more! Ha!

I suppose that if you are sanding bare wood, these may or may not be acceptable; however, on painted wood, forget about it. When sanding painted wood for repainting they load up sooooo bad, it's pathetic. I would think at the cadillac price charged, they would perform, but that is definitely not the case. Save some cash, and buy generics.

The hook and loop stuff wears out before the sanding pad does. Maybe can buy some hook-and loop sheets and a pack of sandpaper to make your own.

I have been amazed at how easy to use and how efficient this tool is. It does everything it states it will do. The only downfall that keeps me from rating this 5 stars is the fact that it can't cut thru nails.
