Our Marzipan Stollen is a rich yeast cake with a generous quantity of raisins, nuts and cherries with a sweet almond marzipan filling. This stollen is a Christmas morning tradition served warm with butter and European style coffee. The 26 ounce stollen serves 12-16 and will keep for six months in a cool dry place if tightly wrapped, longer if frozen (do not refrigerate). Comes with powerdered sugar.
German pastries, such as stollen are a bit drier than American style cakes. To make your stollen moister simply toast lightly and spread with soft butter. For a little extra sweetness, sprinkle with powdered sugar.

I was very excited to order this product for my German mother in law for Christmas. The entire ad leads one to believe that it is made in Germany, when in essence, it is made in Texas. You have to scroll down the ad almost to the bottom to realize that is NOT authentic German Stollen....authentic German Stollen would be made in Germany.....please be advised. There are other German Stollens that do come from Germany and therefore authentic. The rep from the company did call, but I was not able to answer the phone at the time but they did e-mail with no explanation of why they do not put up front that is a TEXAS Stollen! It should be presented as German style Texas Stollen.....
