5.0 out of 5 stars I'm a believer! May 1, 2014
By Lucia
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I grew up with boring salads - iceberg lettuce, cucumber and tomato. These salads weren't helped at all by the packaged dressings we had at home. No wonder, then, that until recently I thought of myself as someone who doesn't like salad much. I found myself saying, "Salad tastes better when someone else makes it."

Enter Lydia and her inspiring recipes! Such terrific flavors and textures! Such variety! Mixing and matching salad ingredients and dressings is fun. Just thinking about the chipotle, the avocado, the lime, the cilantro ..... My mouth is watering. I highly recommend this book - it's well written and photographed. The links to videos and other recipes encourage exploration. I'm going to give it as a gift to a bunch of friends and family members. Thanks Lydia!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Salad Inspiration! April 28, 2014
By Donna
Format:Kindle Edition
Like most people who love cookbooks, I buy cookbooks for inspiration. Lydia’s Dress Up Your Salad cookbook delivers inspiration recipe after recipe. The pictures will grab your interest and make it fun to sit with a cup of tea and flip through the pages looking for your dinner salad. Do you want something a little different? Not to worry, each recipe includes several links to other salad options. Be sure to take the time to watch the short videos for a peak into Lydia’s log home kitchen and easy ideas to help you always have tasty salad dressing at the ready. For those of you uncertain about e-cookbooks, you’ll find Lydia’s e-cookbooks deliver much more than any paper-based cookbook can. Those of you looking for tasty ways to include more salads into your diet will not be disappointed with Dress Up Your Salad.
