I purchased this product because my closet has 2 rods..one above the other. I am unable to reach the top rods and hang clothes up...or remove the hangers from the rod. This product seemed like the solution for me. However, I am unable to use it for my purposes because it doesn't seem to work for me. Very disappointing.

This is a very useful product for those with arthritis, however, the plastic 'S' hook at one end breaks after repeated usage (several months of standard use). It would help if it was reinforced. If it wasn't for that, I would rate it 5 stars.

I can't believe that something that weighs in at under a pound can cause usage issues to any non-paraplegic, but everyone's got an opinion.

I'm just a fat Sys Admin and I like reach this puppy has. The hook at the other end is sweet for hanging on a door knob, and I pulled the padding up at the bottom (it moves) so it didn't impede my progress when putting on my shoes. I'm actually going to buy another one for the bedroom.

I have one at the front door to assist in my Benihana shoe exchange philosophy: I set aside one pair of shoes for use ONLY inside the house; the "outdoor" shoes are removed when I enter or just before I leave.

Basically I'm not only too lazy to use a regular shoe horn but also too lazy to keep cleaning the floors! Hey, I helped my brother move his family into a 4th story apt this weekend, so at least I'm not 100% lazy.
