Foundation for Dressage
I've had this book for over 30 years. It is the "go-to" book for solving problems with young dressage prospects and for teaching dressage to beginning riders. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in classical riding.

this book is an average one, it does say alot about what is done in dressage, but is not as good as some other books i have recently read

_Dressage for Beginners_ provides beginner riders and even experienced horsemen from other disciplines with a good overview of the sport of riding figures. Well illustrated, it also provides simple graphics of fundamental positions required of both horse and rider. I have extra copies on my bookshelf to loan to students.
