We have been in possession of this spiritual treasure for years. As traditional Orthodox Christian, we find this handy Prayer Book especially useful. Its attractive style and layout both make it easy for daily use, incl. carrying it along, by all Orthodox Christians and those who wish to become aquainted with the richness of the Orthodox Prayer life and tradition.

Note that if you are seeking this, the 1986 first edition is better than the 2001 second edition. The later edition supposedly has better translations, but not so one would notice. Plus the original includes some outstanding prayers that were left out in 2001.

For those who have not seen this, the left page is in Russian and the right in English, making it interesting. The history of the book underscores the ancientness of Orothodoxy.

A fine book for use ever day, and that from a Lutheran.
