The Blaze walking shoe features Drew's innovative Boa technology which delivers easy adjustability. This is the only comfort shoe with the Boa lacing system - an adjustable reel on the back of the shoe that controls ultra-thin strands of strategically placed, airplane-grade steel wires. A quick twist of the reel tightens the tiny strands and provides a fit that you can't get in other comfort footwear, and a simple pull on the reel releases the laces. You can further customize your fit with not one, but two removable insoles. Extended medial heel stabilizer provides rearfoot walking stability and minimizes heel slippage. Soft, foam-padded tongue and collar minimize pressure over the instep.

The tieing system is fabulous, no more undone shoelaces. That said, I did send the shoes back. In order for the shoes to be comfortable I had to remove one set of inserts. Even then I was only iffy about the shoes as the toebox still did not seem all that comfortable. As the shoes are pricey, I decided to send them back as I wasn't absolutely sure they would be comfortable in the long run. Return was easy and refund was processed right away.
