4.0 out of 5 stars The fun continues!
If you have read the first two books, read this one too! Just as good, just as fun, great for fun reading. Not recommended for kiddos, but I suppose if you can get your kid to read in this internet/video game world I'd let them read this. Enjoy!

3.0 out of 5 stars How to ruin a good story.
This is the third book a series that was lots of fun. But at a point that seemed to be about half way through the story, it seems like the author got tired of writing and just summed up the entire last half of it. This ruined the entire series for me.

2.0 out of 5 stars Action without Immersion, November 4, 2010

The story picks up right where the last book leaves off, but it's more summary than suspense. I think this author got a little too lazy about telling and not showing, especially in the later half of the novel where everything is summarized. I still don't understand how exactly the Drifter ship ended up at it's final (end book) destination given who is the real 'owner' of the ship.

Anyway, I'd only read this if you liked the earlier volumes of the series, and even then, don't expect much.

On a personal note, one of the things that really annoyed me about the novel was one of the main alien characters is named Wexial, which constantly reminded me of the magic card Wrexial, the Risen Deep - Worldwake Mythic Rare and generally made the story much harder to get into.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, but not like the other two, October 26, 2000
This review is from: Drifter's War (Paperback)
It's was an ok read but not as good as the others. I should mention that I read this book when I was just starting to read english books so that might have twisted my oppinion.
