When your memory doesn't seem to last more than a day, you aren't in the best condition to uncover a conspiracy. "Drifting Back" tells the tale of gun shot to head survivor Sig Conrad as he's set forth in front of a rolling conspiracy that is claiming the lives of his friends. But, as a result of his injuries, he can't remember what happened yesterday or the day before...

This book started off very promising, and initially held my attention with a strong story line. Unfortunately it slowed down and became predictable, the storyline eventually faltering as though the author had run out of imagination in the final third in particular. Still an ok story though, just not sure why the plot lost the pace and stopped keeping the reader guessing...

"Drifting Back" tells the tale of gun shot to head survivor Sig Conrad as he's set forth in front of a rolling conspiracy that is claiming the lives of his friends. But, as a result of his injuries, he can't remember what happened yesterday or the day before. Racing against his own mind, Sig has to somehow overcome himself, pick up the pieces and find the truth before it's too late. "Drifting Back" is a fascinating mystery with quite the twist.
