First of all, as far as content, it was perfect. After all, it's the Bible! The NIV (New International Version) is a great, accurate and understandable version.

The print is very readable and the verse numbers are in bold type which makes it easier to distinguish from the regular lettering.

It only comes in hardcover and I would like to see it in a leather or bonded leather soft-cover. Also, I was hoping for a "verse by verse" set up in a "Drill Bible" (as it is in the King James or New American Standard Versions) instead of the standard NIV "paragraph by paragraph" layout (the reason I only gave it four stars). Although paragraph by paragraph is more readable for other uses.

All in all, it is a great basic Bible for the price.
