Drina goes to America...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Drina Dances in New York (Drina Books) (Paperback)
After she returns from a successful time with the Dominick Company in Edinburgh, Drina goes with her grandparents to New York. This book marks, to me, the biggest shift in Drina's character, an almost abrupt change from child to adolescent. While on the ship to America, Drina befriends another orphaned dancer and (!!) falls in love for the first time. This book also contains some upsetting changes for the beloved Jenny Pilgrim. Highly recommended, along with the rest of the series.
