This movie is hilarious! Its a great movie when you are feeling blue. A real feel good movie. It's the first movie I saw completely centered around drinking.

I am particularly partial to movie where food plays a central role in the story line (i.e. Babette;s Feast, Big Night, Eat Drink Man Woman, Simply Irresistible etc.) . This is a light comedy about a relationship between a chef and a woman who sells beer for a living.I added this DVD to what I call my "food movie collection" because it is fun to watch.

From my point of view as a U.S. Citizen...this was really good. No, it's not like transformers or Die Hard. Chinese movies have their own charm, wait until you see more, or understand their culture, to make a judgment.
