A Poet-Laureate in the making.,
By Russ Wilson "Prof Russ" (West Coast USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Drinking the Moon (Hardcover)
When you read these poems, you will find this young lady is so much more than a TV star. She is a class act, and writes beautiful poetry. If you middle-age men out there do not see something in "A Man of Forty" or appreciate or understand your wives or girlfriends more with "Call Us Women" - then I suggest you need to keep reading. A person can travel to Rome in "Roma I, II & III" or picture some of beautiful & historical Vienna in "Christmas in Shonbrunn" or venture into the Universe with "Drinking the Moon", "Netting the Stars", " Full Moon, a Siren's Songs" OR look to yourself with "I Am". And those are just a few of the many fine works in this book. Buy it and read & read again & enjoy this treasure that rivals Sandberg, Cummings, Frost, etc.

While many modern poets of our time seem to try (in my opinion) too hard to be different, here is someone who simply allows the words and inspiration come to her. This book of poetry, though short, is a wonderful example of true talent and I recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading and/or writing poetry!
