This book is an amazing addition to my design resources. There are so many design elements available for free on the internet today, but free usually means less quality. This book is packed with hight quality, hand-crafted patterns that can be utilized is numerous ways. This book is definitely worth the money and is a great inspiration.

As a quilter and crafter, I found this book so very inspirational. CD accompanies it with some beautiful designs to use on fabric, paper, etc. Definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants some very nice artwork to add to projects.

I was working on a design project where I needed a background effect similar to what you'd see in a passport, but it was a rush job and I didn't have time to create an original piece of art. Thank goodness I had enough sense at 1:00am to look at my bookshelf first. I was tickled pink to see not just one, but at least a half-dozen patterns in "Drip Dot Swirl" that would be perfect for my project. "True Vine" looked great, pleased my client, and saved me more than enough to time to pay for the cost of book. Von gives clear instructions on how to apply the patterns, and there are some outstanding examples of how other great designers have used them as well. I'm going to be looking for ways to incorporate more of these beautiful patterns into my work. Highly recommended.
