5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT FIND
I saw this item on Rachel Ray and Googled a search. I bought it for an adult who has problems with their hands and can not grasps items. This holder can be held using both palms. It is a great invention.

2.0 out of 5 stars Totally not worth it for younger kids
Just to be clear, this only includes ONE holder. Also, it's HUGE. If you are getting this for a toddler, look elsewhere. This thing will look like the Holy Grail Chalice in your child's hand. It's not far off from being one of those giant wide mouth margarita glasses.

It's too big for both my 2 year old and my 4 year old and it's size makes it impractical...

It's too big for both my 2 year old and my 4 year old and it's size makes it impractical for storing on the shelf too.

We got a set of two kid sized holders at the 99 cent store for . . . 99 cents and when one of them turned up missing we thought this was good alternative. If the kids were 10 years old it might be usable, but it's WAY over priced.

If you have one of those giant Frankenstein children, and a recently remodeled kitchen with oodles of space, and nearly $7 for one piece of injection molded plastic seems like a good deal, then this is probably right for you!

I bought this for my two year old because he was sick and getting popcicle everywhere. Unfortunately he would just hold the thing sideways and would still drip everywhere. My older 8 year old enjoyed it though. But for the price and what I bought it for (to avoid spills) it wasn't worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great for Toddler independence, June 7, 2010

This product is just right for toddler hands. My 2 year old can grasp the large handle in the middle much easier than trying to hold on to the tiny Popsicle stick. She can thereby eat a popsicle all by herself. Until your toddler masters not tipping the Dripstik (to get to the treat on the stick), there will be drips, but for me the advantage is I don't have to help her hold her frozen treat.

My 14-month-old and my 3-year-old use their Dripstiks all the time. We love them! It really does catch the drip! They are really durable and easy to wash in the dishwasher. Highly recommend them!

5.0 out of 5 stars Has been working perfectly for my kids!, August 28, 2011

I read a bunch of reviews on this and felt compelled to write one of my own. I've had my dripstick for over a year now, and we use it so often for my 2 year old and 5 year old that I never even get the chance to put it away. At first, I thought the place where you put in the popsicle stick was too shallow, but we haven't had an issue with it yet, so it must be fine.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about the size, but I think the size is fine for hands that aren't very nimble. I think that's the point of it having a bigger handle. They make crayons for the littlest kids larger, not smaller, because it's easier for them to grip. Both of my kids (2 & 5) can hold it without issue.
Now, if your kid wants to turn it to the side, any liquid that's accumulated will spill out. No way around that. Both of my kids know not to turn it over and have never done so in the year that we've had it. I usually sit them at a little table that we have for them in the living room, and it's nice that they can set the popsicle or ice cream cone down if they need to go potty, or do something else quickly.
Overall, I love mine, and it was worth the $5.

I have two boys who just turned 3 and these are for sure NOT too big for them. Yes, they are big, but they can manage them just fine and are so wonderful in containing the mess popsicles make. I highly recommend, especially for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea!, July 18, 2011

These may seem silly but if you have little kids or are just a messy person prone to dripping ice cream than it is fantastic. It makes it harder to make a mess or drop things. This especially makes it easier for small hands to hold larger ice cream cones. And it allows treats to be set down for a moment.

1.0 out of 5 stars Seems like a good idea at first..., July 13, 2011

I was so excited for this product, but it didn't live up to my expectations. When my 3 year old tipped it just a little, all the liquid in the little bowl dumped all over his carseat straps and soaked his lap. The main reason I bought it was to prevent huge messes, but it really just changed the mess from dripping down his fingers to soaking his front.
