I needed one of these right away since I am trying to finish a quilt for a charity quilt auction and am on a deadline. I was able to find one yesterday at a newly enlarged JoAnn's Fabric Shop, locally, in spite of the information at JoAnn's website which said that they were not available in the retail stores, only online. I called the local store just to check, and they said they carry them, so I went out and got one. It was over-priced compared to the price on Amazon, but I needed it quick, so I paid and brought it home.

Well, I don't even mind what I paid because it is really a very well-designed, simple but ingenious, sturdy little product! I set it up just from looking at the picture on the box, really easy. Took maybe a little more than five minutes. If you have a rubber mallet to tap the pieces together (gently) that is a nice help.

The long sleeves, that hold the quilt onto the side rails so you can work on it, are a great idea. They hold quite well, but are pretty easy to get on and off without damaging your quilt top. They also hold the batting/backing fabrics taut if you are just a little bit careful of how you put them onto the frame. That is a very nice feature. As you work, feel the underside of the quilt "sandwich" in various areas just to doublecheck that you have no big wrinkles in the batting/backing. You shouldn't have any because of how well this frame holds, but you should ckeck from time to time to make sure. You can even rotate the sleeves a little bit, once you have them on, to tighten up the fabric on the frame.

Mine has rubber grabbers on the feet to keep it from sliding away from you as you work, another good feature. I have not tried any alternate heights since the height that the legs were already on is fine for me.

I am using this product now and thoroughly enjoy it. Couldn't be easier to use and I can easily move it anywhere I want. I had a more expensive frame and this is much easier to use.

I'm really happy with this quilt frame. It makes hand quilting go much quicker since you don't need to be constantly repositioning the frame. My husband made a minor adjustment for me since I'm so short. If you're a hand quilter this is a great frame.

This is the first time I have ever purchased a quilting frame. I wanted one I could sit at and not have to hold onto as my quilt was a large project. After reading good reviews from more experienced quilters, I bought this one. I'm glad I did. It is bigger than I thought it would be and it was very easy to put together. There are four height settings and it is easy to adjust. I have adjusted mine to tilt when it's comfortable for me although I'm not sure if that is recommended. I haven't had any problems. I think it will have to be dismantled to store it but this not really a problem since assembly is easy enough. Four people can quilt at it comfortably if desired. I have had mine for more than a month now. For me, it was definitely worth the money.

I used this to hold an old quilt I was repairing.
I made a hole where one of the bars snapped on on top.
I'm sure this is good for new fabrics, but seems to be to rough for old or fragile fabrics.

We purchased this quilt frame since floor space is now at a premium for us. My wife has had the full 8 foot wood Amish-made quilt frame in the past. But this one fills the need now for something smaller.
I did however, drill and drive screws into many of the joints so it would be more rigid and would not fall apart when we tried to move it.

This is an outstanding product. It is easy to put together and easy to take apart for storage. Dear wife assures me that it makes her work much easier, faster and less strain.

I received my quilting frame and I didn't have any problem putting it together by myself and I really love it because it doesn't take up much room and 2 to 3 people can sit and quilt at it. I am about ready to set up my quilt top and start sewing soon. I really love this frame very much. Thank you so much :)
