I gotta say, I looked around for 5 or 10 minutes for grommets that were DIY and I finally came across these babies. They were about as fat-gauge and hardy as I could find in the price range, and did the job proper. I ordered a quartet of moving blankets to hang in an incredibly loud band's practice space. This did the trick. You basically cut a hole, align your grommet pieces, and hammer that into place. Presto, five holes in the blanket later we've got a sound absorbing curtain that can be taken down after practice and hung on a coupla nails.

Look, this grommet stuff is not rocket science. For anything moving blanket-weight and under, I highly recommend these. They're not going to save the world but they'll grommet the heck out of something that needs grommeting.
