5.0 out of 5 stars Put it in your car and drive fast !, June 18, 2004
By "igbygoesdown" (Manchester, England) - See all my reviews
The Driv3r soundtrack is the perfect match for the game (which I can't wait to get my hands on - although the previews have been amazing). The tracks are fast and edgy and Iggy Pop's narration lends an ominous presence to what is in some ways a concept album. It is interesting that Atari have gone for a mixture of signed and up and coming artists. The Phantom Planet and Iggy tracks are already well known and fit well, I was also particularly impressed with Stateless and Okuniev who I had never heard before. There are also some cool features like the making of section and n-codes but until I play the game I can't really comment on that. All in all a real essential for the Driv3r fan and recommended even if you have never played the game.

4.0 out of 5 stars Title goes here, May 9, 2005
The DRIV3R gameplay isn't as great as I would have expected from a fairly solid story line, great cutscenes and music, and the big build up it had before release.

But the soundtrack alone is something I listen to over and over, and Iggy's voice on the intro's just add something to it reminiscent of both the game, and a lonely midnight drive through the desert mountains.

Driv3r is a game I have been wanting for a long time. I played it and was not thrilled. The only decent part of the game is the cutscenes with some awesome tunes. Read more
