About the Author
Miguel A. Gonzalez has been an avid automotive enthusiast who began tinkering with automobiles at the age of 15 with his father and older sibling. By age 42, and 18 personally owned vehicles later, his love affair with automobiles has taken him on a journey through time: from late 60's and early 70's muscle cars and antiques, to customizations and hot rodding. As the owner of numerous vehicles sporting anything from small 4 cylinder engines to large displacement V8's, Miguel experimented heavily with performance and fuel efficiency, debunking most, and embracing few. Today, he spends more time behind the wheel and less under the hood, resorting to good old fashioned common sense and proven facts to help increase fuel efficiency in any automobile: all of which are shared in his new book.
